Sacraments

 

 

Sacrament of Holy Communion: Holy Communion is served every first Sunday of the month during the 10:30am worship service.

 

Sacrament of Baptism: Parents of children to be baptized must attend two counseling sessions for preparation. Godparents must attend one preparation counseling session with the parents. Godparents must be baptized. Please contact the Pastor for counseling at least four weeks before Baptism.

 

Sacrament of Holy Communion for the Sick: Lay persons may distribute consecrated communion elements to those who are unable to come to worship. The service of Holy Communion is served the first Sunday of the month. Please contact the Church Office to arrange a visit.

 

 

Covenants and Services

 

 

Marriage CovenantWe encourage all couples to come and explore the possibility of getting married in the church. Please contact the Pastor at least six months prior to the date of the wedding.  The Pastor provides counseling sessions before the wedding. Our wedding coordinator will help you plan for the use of the church facilities. Our organist is knowledgeable about music appropriate for the service.

 

Prayers for Healing Service of the Sick: The Pastor is available to administer the anointing service to the sick.

 

Service of Death and Resurrection: Please contact the Pastor immediately following a death to arrange and plan for the service, family hour or wake, and service of death and resurrection.

 

Blessings and Prayers

 

Blessings: All of life God is in our lives. The Pastor is available for blessings on birthdays, wedding anniversaries, quinceanera, house blessings, engaged couples, graduates, new school year, new job, military service, leaders, those who suffer, those who survive a crime or oppression, unemployment, retirement, and death anniversary.

 

Prayers: Prayer is an important part of our ministry. We have a prayer ministry that includes a published prayer list, phone calls, and e-mail notification.
